Dry Needling
Dry Needling is a treatment used to relieve tight muscles and pain, especially when other physical techniques may not be enough. This technique involves inserting thin needles into specific trigger points in the muscles. When these needles stimulate the muscles, they can reduce pain signals to the brain, decrease nerve sensitivity, and help muscles return to their normal function.
Dry Needling is especially effective for targeting musculoskeletal issues, such as chronic muscle tension and pain. It also promotes a small increase in blood flow to the treated area, which supports healing and recovery. Often combined with remedial massage, dry needling can give clients the best results by releasing stubborn muscle tension, relieving pain, and improving overall muscle health. This approach has become popular in physical therapy and sports medicine for its ability to target problem areas directly and enhance overall well-being.
